AVaspo (AudioVisual Asp of Poetry) is a symbiotic poetry and music project launched in 2008. Initially conceived as a creative collaboration between young Lithuanian poet and playwright Gabriele Labanauskaite (text and vocals) and three music creators – Vladas Dieninis, Rytis Koreniukas, Pavel Kostiukov and visual artist Simas Gineika – AVaspo has outgrown its boundaries.

2 albums have been released: CD/DVD album 'Nera Okeano' (En. – There Is No Ocean), released in 2009, has been exhibited in Lithuanian, Ukrainian and German short movie festivals, as well as staged in galleries of Italy.
The latest album 'Niagara' has been released in December 2010. Here the intricate blend of poetry and music tackles interpersonal (and public) dispute, war and peace, ravishing visual culture and dominance of pop media, love and tolerance towards its different forms.
Well appraised in different Lithuanian Contemporary Art festivals AVaspo is already invited to represent it’s creation in various Musical and Art Festivals in Europe. Intensely performing and constantly refreshing their repertoire, AVaspo dodge all the musical borders.
